Introduced since childhood to classical music and opera, poetry, sculpture and especially painting, I have been nourished over the years by numerous exhibitions of artists with diverse influences, in France and around the world, initially awakening a keen sensitivity to color. 

 

I discovered Zao-Wou-Ki and Turner, my first pictorial influences that founded my artistic approach inspired by lyrical abstraction. 

 

After studying art history in Paris, I worked for 30 years in written communications and events, organizing numerous trips for companies that opened my mind to diversity. In 2016, I decided to devote myself to painting. 

 

My work combines different techniques (acrylic, watercolor, oil pastels, inks, glazes, pencils, etc.). My hands roam the medium before grasping it with force and intensity.

 

I like to layer colors to create effects of depth, gradually shaping the shapes and materials to create a dialogue between them. Intimate worlds emerge, bordering on reality, often evoking landscapes and pure, distant and poetic horizons, in which each person's imagination is carried away into a contemplative world, inviting travel and reverie… 

 

I express my emotions felt before nature and the immensity of the universe that transcends me... The colors of a changing sky, the moving sea, the breath of the wind, the nascent light of dawn or dusk call me to an inner serenity to capture the essential. The unformulated is released in an explosion of nuances and gives rise to harmonies of vibrant and soothing colors. 

 

I work on small or large formats, wandering from one to the other, aware of the world around me and expressing what I see, between the infinitely large and the infinitely small...
